Since our establishment in 1998, SINGIDA TEACHERS TRAINING COLLEGE has been at the forefront of teacher training and professional development in Tanzania.
Our core mission is to enhance the quality of education by empowering teachers with the skills, knowledge, and credentials they need to succeed in the classroom.
We are proud to have:
- Trained over 11,000 teachers through our pioneering evening classes.
- Established institutions such as West Dar es Salaam Teachers College, Singida Teachers College, and Singida Teachers College Pemba Branch.
- Graduated over 33,000 professional educators now serving across both government and private schools in Tanzania.
Our Latest Initiative:
In alignment with the Ministry of Education’s directive, we are now offering programs that allow GRADE IIIA teachers to upgrade to a Diploma in Primary Education. This initiative is designed to enhance teacher qualifications, ultimately raising the standard of education across Tanzania.
