The qualifications for joining Diploma in Early Childhood education, Primary Education and special education (2 years) are:

Graduates of Advanced Secondary Education with a pass grade ranging from Division I to III and having two (02) “Principal Passes.”

Additionally, applicants who studied Economics, Commerce, and Bookkeeping should apply for the Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

Teachers who have completed the Certificate in Teacher Education at the level of Early Childhood education or Primary Education or special education.

The Qualifications for joining Special Diploma in Primary Education (3 years) are:

Graduates of Ordinary Level Secondary Education with a pass grade ranging from Division I to III, with at least a “C” grade in three subjects, two of which must be: Basic Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Information and Computer Studies, or Computer Science.
